Low Vision

After undergoing extensive certification in 2017-2018, Dr. Beau completed the certification process to become a low vision certified specialist in the state of Michigan. This certification has allowed Northern Eye Care Associates to provide low vision assessments and work with patients with diseases such as macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, ocular albinism, and many other ocular diseases where patients are unable to see well with spectacle lens prescription alone. Dr. Beau can work with you to aim toward optimizing what vision remains to improve quality of life and independence. He works with a number of various devices to reach your visual goals.
